The Audi Swiss Ski X Tour finishes in style

The finale of the Swiss Audi Ski Cross Tour kicked off in style over the weekend here in a stormy Saas Fee. For the first time the Swiss Championship took place in the evening under spotlights adding to the excitement of this thrilling event, with the finals of the tour taking place on Sunday. Spectators looked on as racers flung themselves full throttle down the difficult course, navigating wide berms and enormous jumps. In the men’s category it was Appenzeller Marc Bischofberger who swooped in to take the title at the last minute inches before Alex Fiva and Armin Niederer. In the women’s race Waadtländerin Zoé Cheli pipped Zoe Chastan and Lucrezia Lareida on the finish line to take the win. The Sunday brought an exciting end to a fantastic Ski X Tour with Tania Prymak (New York / Ladies), Rolf Kryenbühl (Unteriberg / Men), Adrian Schoch (Ennetbühl / U21) and Nicolas Henzi (Crans Montana / Licensed) all skiing to victory.
