Where does the tour start?
If you have arrived by car, bus or on foot at the village square in Saas-Almagell, the hike begins directly at the arrival point. Saas-Almagell (1,672 m above sea level) is nestled in picturesque side valleys and is the southernmost village in the Saas-Fee/Saastal holiday region. In winter, Saas-Almagell attracts visitors with wide pistes and beautiful cross-country ski trails. An ice rink, incredible toboggan runs and fantastic winter hiking trails provide other fun in the snow.
On the village square, you have the opportunity to buy food for the hike at the village shop "Volg".
